Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other”

On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Adam was riding his bicycle while training for a triathlon when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Adam suffered major traumatic and anoxic brain injuries. He was found by another motorist and was airlifted to the hospital. Our family has been by his side ever since. It has been a trying time, but he is fighting for us, and we are praying that he heals and comes back to us soon.

He is loved by so many in the community. We are hurting deeply because Adam is our heart and soul. He is a father to our 6-year-old boy that misses him each day, an incredible husband to myself, an amazing brother, and a caring and compassionate son to his parents. He is an uncle and a best friend. Adam is everything to our family, and we want to fight for him just like he’s fighting for us right now.

Just like our family hurt, we know many others are struggling though the same or similar trauma. Hopefully this site will be a place of healing, comfort, and resource to others as we share our journey.
